Spitfire Mk Vb [QRF-AC11]

Designed by R J Mitchell at Eastleigh, the prototype (K5054) first flew on March 5, 1936, from Eastleigh Aerodrome (later Southampton Airport). The MkV began to arrive at front line units in March 1941. The MkVB was equipped with four machine guns and two cannons. users: Britain, USA, USSR, Australia
